INSTRUCTION

Exercise 1: Framing

For this task we are instructed to shoot the angles we had learn in class with our partners. With Yi Yun and Adlina, we practice shooting in defferent angles.

Below is the list of shoot we need to do:

  • Low angle Wide shot
  • Frontal MCU (soft background)
  • Frontal MS (soft background)
  • Extreme Close-Up shot
  • Side angle MS (soft background)
  • ¾ angling MCU shot (with
  • Close-Up shot blurry/soft foreground)
  • Eye-Level Medium-Wide shot

Exercise 2

For this exercise, we will be editing clips of a video name "Lalin". Below are the links to materials provided by Mr. Martin.

Exercise 3: Music Video

For this task, we need to do a music video with 7 different angle shots.

  • Wide shot (high angle solo)
  • 3 single full body shots (eye level) (with group members)
  • Medium shot - eye level (solo)
  • Medium close-up shot - eye level (solo)
  • Close-up shot - eye level (solo)
  • Extreme close-up shot - eye level (solo)
  • Wide shot - low angle (solo)

We need to do this task in partners. My group "oompa loompa" consist of Adlina, Shofwa, Safanah , and Me. We had decided to do the dance "Say So - Doja Cat".

Exercise 4: Production Shoot

In this task we will be doing a shooting on the field.

Before doing the shoot, some members had went to find some location for the shoot.

REFLECTION

Doing these project was very insignfull and fun too. I learn a lot of things about about editing and have a bit of fun while learning. The last exercise was more relaxing since I'm in crew, I can see the process of the shooting, how the light need to be adjusted, how they adjust the camera angle and how some tools work.
