Task 3
INSTRUCTION
For this task, we need to make or develop a font that is intended to solve a larger problem or meant to be a part of a solution in our area of interest be it graphic design, animation, or any other area that is not specifically related to our specialization.
Or, another way. We can explore the use of typeface in area of our interest, understand it's existing relationship, identify areas that could be improved, explore possible solutions or combinations that may add value to the existing type faces
Sketch
Before I did my sketches, I had look into a few interesting typefaces in Pinterest. I tried to do the wood typefaces but it didn't impress me that much, maybe because how similar and common it is to me.

Another Idea was marshmallow and contained liquid. I said it like that because I don't know what else I should refer it to be more accurate.

I though making a marshmallow typeface was a good Idea but it didn't impress me that much for me, and the other idea is possible but I was worried whether I was doing it right.
So I just look for another idea in Pinterest.
One of the ideas that pick my internet very much was this.
Below is the progress of another type idea.

At class Mr. Vinod gave me feedbacks. I also showed him my previous ideas. He told me to try the idea with liquid inside and try to animate it. So I did an this is the result.

Final Design
After checking with Mr. Vinod. He suggest me to try to keep the rough art line while keeping the inside animated.
I did another one and check it with Mr. Vinod after that I did the rest of the alphabets.

Some alphabets may have a different style since I don't have much idea about what other theme I can make.

REFLECTION
Experience
In this period of time of Task 3, I was having difficulty in the beginning. I tried to do experimental type but then I was stump because I make to many ideas in mind, that I can't choose which one start. Then I was struggling due to the lack of idea and time-limit.
Observation
Since it's been a while since I last use photoshop to animate. I was struggling on the first alphabet. Especially with the intention of animation in mind, I had to patiently do it frame by frame so the result will be like my expectation.
Findings
Patient was not my biggest point and I almost think about to change it again, but then I still keep doing it and found out I that I can doing do this by enjoying the process and the after result was the most satisfying part for me. But due to the lack of time I had and lack of other ideas some alphabets may seem boring.
FURTHER READING
This is not related to my current task, but this type was very attractive to me as it is very unique.
I had also coincidentally stumble upon the animated version.
This is also another interesting paper like fold typefaces. It reminds me of paper cranes.
