LIST
LECTURE
Week 1
In the first week, the lecturer starts by explaining what the module is for and what is expected at the end of this module.
We will create vehicles of different types (land, water, and air), and are encouraged to use AI generators such as Midjourney, Leonardo AI, etc. But we cannot use the AI-generated image as our final submission.
Week 2
Today the lecturer explained about AI-generator platform and its functions, another thing he mentioned is USP (Unique Selling Point), which makes the sketch and its presentation suitable.
There are a few things we can do to improve our drawing. Which is to learn about volume, depth and perspective.

Then our lecturer showed us how to break down the object. Giving us the base of the object.

After giving a brief explanation of perspective, volume, as well the breakdown process. Our lecturer then taught us how to use Blender. Such as how to navigate and use the tools in the software.
Week 3
This week we learned how to conceptualize with silhouettes.
When building a concept we can refer to any IP (Intellectual Property), such as star wars or any movie or game.

After collecting all of this, we then have to proceed to collect references, by using pureref we can compile plenty of references.
Then our lecturer proceeds to create silhouettes drawing and explain the process of the making.

Week 4
INSTRUCTION
MODULE INFORMATION BOOKLET (MIB)
Exercise 1 - Vehicle sketch
In the first exercise, we will be sketching 5 thumbnails of each type of vehicle to learn about perspective, volume, and depth.
Air Vehicle
Land Vehicle
Water Vehicle
Exercise 2 - Object sketch
In the second exercise similar to the first exercise, we will sketch an object but with different angles
Exercise 3 - Sillhuotte sketches
In this exercise, we are required to make 15-20 sketches of 3 types of vehicles and then choose one to be refined later.
Exercise - Texture
Final Submission
FEEDBACK
Week 2
Make the sketches picture bigger.
REFLECTION
Experience
While doing this exercise, I did a lot of redo, because I felt that the perspective isn't right so is the depth. Especially when I flip the picture, it felt even more disturbing.
Observation
In this exercise, I learn a bit more about creating perspective, volume and depth of the referenced picture. I also observe a lot of glass material as well as metal to make the texture more realistic.
Findings
I feel like I can improve more after sketching more perspective sketches from different angles, as well as painting textures. I still need to improve on one of the textures which is snow, which I feel like it looks more like cotton than snow.
