Progress

For this task, I have decided to create the Sliter.

Fig. 1 (Sliter overview)

I use Blender to create the 3D model instead of Zbrush because I want to learn in-depth more about Blender and my brush doesn't work really well because it often crashes and the data wasn't saved properly.

I wasn't satisfied with the result so I remake the whole model from scratch in blender.

This time I like the end result, next I tried to paint the model but unfortunately, my laptop wasn't strong enough to handle the work, so I export the model in Zbrush to paint. Somehow there were problems when painting the model. The painting would pass from the back to the front and despite spending a long time searching the internet I wasn't able to discover the problem. So I just did my best to make it as good as possible.

FEEDBACK

  • Fix the 3D shoulder and chest, take reference as an example
  • Combine the next with the body and make the head seperate
  • Care to not overlap the texture paint

REFLECTION

Making a 3D model in a blender wasn't easy as I expected, because of the high resolution or poly, my laptop often crash and lagged. Because of this, I repeated the model 3 times to have a better version. In the end, I am satisfied with the end 3D model result. Unfortunately, I wasn't too happy with the colouring, since my model has high poly I can unwarp and paint it in blender so I had opt too Zbrush but somehow the paint passed through the model and I still can't find a solution.
