Progress

I wasn't satisfied with the monster/villain overall looks so I came up with more ideas.

I preferred these two more than the other designs. I want to keep the monsters/villain visual to be out from human like visuals or features.

Then next I start to refine and add more details.

Another task is to create the characters expressions.

I'm not quite sure on what other expressions I should add because I visualize this character as a serious and cold or grim personality. After I continue refining the second monster.

FEEDBACK

  • Add multiple eyes for the 2nd monster wings
  • Fix the anatomy
  • You can create a new brush using a picture to create textures


REFLECTION

Since I already had an idea of the main character story and personality, I didn't have a hard time in creating a concept that fits it occupation, well audiences may not be able to see that she is a mercenary but it is clear that she is a fighter. 

As for the ones I had difficulties with are the monsters. I contemplate if I should make a monster with human body that assimilates with a parasite or just make a full monster with few humen features. It was thanks to the lecturer urging for us to sketch in traditional way that I was able to keep sketching while keeping improving on the monster designs until it came to what it is now.
