Progress
Continuing from the last task, this project will be focusing on the interior. There are a few ideas I have in mind while referring to the original game.
The first idea I had was a glimpse of a lab inside the building with a focus on the window and monitor.

The 2nd ideas focus on some mysterious engine or energy core.

And last is the inside of a spacecraft.

There's a sketch I did while in class, for this one I used photobashing technique to quickly create the overview look of the area. It is a mining are that is located under the tower.

There are 2 sketch I was attracted to which is Sketch 2 & 3. So I refine both sketches.

Then on the week we chose which sketch to choose from, People prefer Sketch_3 of the previous version instead of the refined version. Honestly, I was surprised they would choose the original concept instead of the refined one. Soo what I did was photobash to create a new sketch with a similar look and feel to the original one.

The lecturer liked the concept and allowed me to continue using this as a reference.

While doing this I was starting to get restless and agitated because it didn't look good. So, I redid everything from the beginning again.

This time I like how it starts to come together. I showed this to my lecturer and he is good with the looks and colour, he also gave me a few good suggestions I could do to improve it.

Final Submission
FEEDBACK
- Find and collect various references, use photobash
- Add little details like meat creeping out from the capsule/tube
- Find elements and use them to the interior, try edit it a bit such as the opacity. Don't just put it in.
REFLECTION
This process was a bit fun as well stressful for me. Creating the concept was fun, but when it comes to building I wasn't having a good time. Because when I use photobash I only want to refer to the composition, not the details or props contain inside. So I wasn't able to imagine what else is inside an alien lab besides monitors and tubes.
A good thing was the lecturer's feedback, I didn't even think of using other photo assets to print on the interiors floor and wall. It was good practice for me to see which elements will look good on which part to fill in the blank inside the sketch.
