Collaborative Design Practice - Final Compilation
LECTURE
Week 1
In the first week, our class started with an ice-breaking session, and after that, we were told about the details of this project. I am excited about this project as it is a real collaboration with an agency. After all, the information was told, we were to make a 5 member group by joining a random ZOOM break-out room.
In this break-out room, we have to make a name for our group as well as questions for the representatives of the agency who will join the meeting later.
Most of the questions we made are common questions such as size, price, objective, etc. There is also some useful information gained from other team's questions.
After finishing the Q&A session with the representatives, we started to make some rough ideas of what the design will become, most members have the same ideas of using trees as the design.
Note: a new member joined us so now we have 6 members.
Week 2
In the 2nd week, we must choose a time slot for a personal tutorial session with the lecturer. In this session, we got many useful feedbacks from the lecturer, as it made us know that we are heading in the right direction, we just that we need to improve our design ideas and if possible add balloons as the agency also want balloons to the installation.
Week 3
This week we are presenting our slides to the class, and then we continue with tutorial session where we show our progress for task 2.
Week 5 - No Class *Holiday*
Week 6
This week we had a physical class with our lectrurer. We preseant our current progress on our project and discussing as well recieving feedback from our lecturer.
Week 7
This week we have a physical class with our lecturer discussing our progress with our prototype.
Week 8 - *INDEPENDENT LEARNING WEEK*
For this week, we won't have class as we use this to further develop our task and prototype.
Week 9
This is the final week for our class, this time the class will be conducted physically because we will be presenting our presensation for our final work directly to the GSK group.
